The company uses intelliSTOR across many back-office departments: margin, reorg, clearing, dividends, reconciliation, and their call center, processing over four million statement pages per month and over 15 million 1099 tax forms at year end. The company also benefits from enhanced customer service through customer- self-service by presenting customers their statements on-line, thus reducing reprint requests by 70% and reducing the temps they hire at tax time by 80%.


On-line Specialty Broker Archives and Analyzes Thousands of Report Pages Daily

An on-line specialty broker/dealer service has invested in intelliSTOR® Advanced Server for report management, using intelliSTOR's robust capabilities to ingest tens of thousands of report pages daily. The reports are generated from SunGard's Phase3® solution for order-to-settlement processing. They are electronically distributing relevant reports to their end users, based on specific criteria.

The on-line business requires them to produce a very large volume of reports on a daily basis and deliver them to multiple users. Instead of printing multiple copies of these reports and sending them to end users, intelliSTOR will electronically burst and distribute reports to the appropriate users, in views relevant to them. The time and cost savings in eliminating paper report printing and distribution is a major benefit to the company.
